Verse of the Day: And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. (Colossians 3:17, ESV)

The LoveHim.org Statement of Faith

While we are a group of different denominations, having some disagreements on Doctrine, we stand together on these Truths which are the foundation of our Christian faith.

  1. There is only ONE God and His name in the Bible is Yehovah (Hebrew) and translated Jehovah or Yahweh (German Translation). Most commonly refer to Him as God, but many of us call Him by name. We believe He exists in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19, II Corinthians 13:14). The Father is God (I Corinthians 8:6); the Son is God (Isaiah 9:6; John 1:1,14; Hebrews 1:8-10); and the Holy Spirit is God (Acts 5:3,4).
“For thus says Yehovah, who created the Heavens (He is God!), who formed the earth and made it (He established it; He did not create it empty, He formed it to be inhabited!): “I am Yehovah, and there is no other. I did not speak in secret, in a land of darkness; I did not say to the offspring of Jacob, ‘Seek me in vain.’ I, Yehovah, speak righteousness; I declare what is right…And there is no other god besides Me, a righteous God and a Savior; there is none besides Me. Turn to Me and be saved, all the ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other.”
    Isaiah 45:18-19, 21b-22
  2. All Scripture found in the Holy Bible is the Word of our God, Yehovah. It is infallible and inerrant. It was written by Yehovah, given by Him to mankind.
“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.”
    2 Timothy 3:16-17

  3. Christ Jesus/Y’shua (Hebrew) is the Messiah foretold in the Old Testment/Torah. He fulfilled every prophecy perfectly.
  4. Messiah Y’shua was born of a virgin woman.
References: Prophecy: Isaiah 7:14; Prophecy Fulfilled: Matthew 1:18-25, Luke 1:26-38
  5. Messiah Y’shua died on the Cross. Yehovah has provided salvation through offering His Son on the cross of Calvary, and allowing His blood to be shed to atone for our sins.
References: Prophecy: Psalm 22; Prophecy Fulfilled: Mattew 27:11-56; Romans 3:25; Hebrews 9:22
  6. Messiah Y’shua rose again on the third Jewish day, later ascending to Yehovah the Father. References: Matthew 28; Mark 16; I Corinthians 15; Romans 1:4
  7. When man is born he inherits the nature to sin. Having sin, man is separated from Yehovah and in need of His Salvation.
“…for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
    Romans 3:23
More References: Romans 3:9-19; Ephesians 2:1-3
  8. We are saved and justified when we recognize ourselves as sinners, and put our trust in Christ as the Son of God and His finished work on the cross of Calvary. Salvation is by grace through repentance and faith plus nothing.

    Romans 3:24 and 4:5; Ephesians 2:8,9
  9. Baptism is a symbol for new Believers. It symbolizes the rebirth, new life, and washing away of sins that takes place when a Believer accepts the Messiah as their Savior and receives the Holy Spirit.
